Established in 2015, Tremolo Ensemble is the beating heart of the Tremolo-Israel Percussion Art Center in Netanya, Israel, captivating audiences worldwide with its mesmerizing performances.
Our repertoire boasts an impressive array of compositions written and dedicated to Tremolo Ensemble by prominent Israeli composers. From solo pieces to percussion ensembles, chamber music to concertos for Tremolo and Orchestra, our performances are both dynamic and soul-stirring.
Tremolo Ensemble's reach extends even further, as we've had the pleasure of collaborating with celebrated composers like Helmut Lachenmann, who graced the Tremolo Percussion Center as a guest.
Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We have had the privilege of working with diverse artists and cultural institutions, spanning theaters, dance companies, rock artists, writers, and musicians from all corners of the globe.
Tremolo Ensemble has also earned the honor of collaborating with Israel's leading orchestras, including the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Israel Chamber Orchestra, Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, Haifa Symphony Orchestra, Israel Camerata, and Israel Opera, among others. We are a regular feature in Israel's major festivals, delighting local audiences with our captivating performances.
Tremolo Ensemble has participated in numerous recording projects of contemporary music, including music for cinema, theater, and concert music. One of our most notable achievements is the CD recording of "Letters from Gettysburg" by the American/Israeli composer Avner Dorman, featuring Tremolo Ensemble and the Gettysburg Choir.
Our ensemble has garnered enthusiastic reviews from both audiences and critics alike, showcasing our commitment to excellence in every show. We take great pride in our invitations to perform in various prestigious locations, including Ukraine, New York, Miami, the Czech Republic, Costa Rica, and many more. And there are even more exciting tours ahead, as we plan to mesmerize audiences in the Far East, USA, South America, and Europe.
In recognition of our unwavering commitment to musical excellence, Tremolo Ensemble proudly received the Binyamini Prize for Best Music Ensemble in Israel for 2021, awarded by the Israel Culture Ministry.
Our dedication to promoting Israeli compositions has been recognized with the Ödön Pártos prize, presented by the Israeli Ministry of Culture, for an outstanding performance of an Israeli composition.
As the official consultant of the Israel Education Ministry, we are committed to nurturing musical talent and fostering a love for music among the younger generation.
